Responsibilities:

• Work closely with developers to design, create, and execute automation for the CI/CD pipeline.
• Automate and streamline software integration processes, including build, testing, and code scanning.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS Cdk in TypeScript running on Nx.app.
• Use modern pipeline tools like Gitactions and also see the old world tools like Jenkins in symbiosis with each other.
• Build scalable infrastructure and tools to deploy, configure, and monitor applications within AWS ECS.
• Investigate and diagnose incidents to restore failed platform services promptly.
• Provide effective and timely response and resolution for platform incidents, ensuring incident management processes are followed.
• Implement monitoring solutions using tools such as Grafana and CloudWatch to ensure infrastructure stability and performance.
• Mentor and guide team members on DevOps processes and workflows.
• Continuously seek opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Possess 3+ years of experience working in a DevOps Engineer or related role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience with AWS services, particularly ECS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
• Understanding of DevOps processes and methodologies in a technology organization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, with experience in Jenkins considered a plus.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and CloudWatch.
• Strong mentoring skills, guiding and supporting team members in workflow and development cycles.
• Passionate about automating processes and building efficient systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
